Inspired by one of my favorite bands; I reworked a sold-out poster celebrating The Avett Brothers stop In Wilmington, NC, for the annual Azalea Festival. Initially an 18 "x24" gig poster, it has been reworked to be a 12.5x19" art print. The goal here was to illustrate elements specific to the band. Everything from Seth's necklace to the patterns on the banjo and hidden in their collars.​​​​​​​

This is a three-color serigraph with transparency base added to allow colors to interact with the layers of ink above and below. The transparent base allows added depth to be present in your images. Think of it as a real-world application of a slight multiply effect or an opacity adjustment to colors.
